Balamir Dizdar

Balamir Dizdar began his legal career as an in-house legal counsel after graduating from the Faculty of Law at Bilkent University. Over the course of more than a decade, he held legal positions at multinational companies operating across numerous jurisdictions in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), chemicals & industrial manufacturing, and nuclear medicine sectors. During this time, he developed extensive expertise advising on contract law, corporate law, labor law, competition law, consumer law, advertising law, real estate and lease law, data protection, and ethics & compliance.

Most recently, Balamir served as Country Legal Manager, where he played a leading role in drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing domestic and cross-border commercial agreements with customers and suppliers operating across a wide range of industries, including retail (chain supermarkets), e-commerce, food, automotive, packaging, defence, general industry, and healthcare. Throughout his career, he has gained significant experience in a broad spectrum of commercial contracts and business models, including distribution, agency, lease, turnkey construction, loan for use, consignment, logistics and transportation agreements, as well as Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Throughout his in-house career, Balamir worked closely with Human Resources teams as their primary legal business partner, providing legal support on recruitment processes, the development of internal policies and procedures, disciplinary matters, employment terminations, and the management of labor disputes. He also delivered labor law trainings to HR professionals and senior management and participated in collective bargaining negotiations with various labor unions, gaining substantial experience in collective labor law.

In addition to his legal responsibilities, Balamir led the design and implementation of tailored ethics and compliance programs both within the organisations he served and for clients seeking regulatory compliance support. His experience includes competition law compliance, data protection compliance, anti-bribery and anti-corruption (ABAC) programs, and international sanctions compliance.

Balamir also advises clients operating in the insurance sector and has developed practical experience in insurance law through the legal advisory services he provides.

Drawing on his extensive in-house legal experience and strong commercial perspective, Balamir provides strategic, practical, and solution-oriented legal advisory services to both corporate and individual clients.
