In accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“the Law”), this Data Privacy Notice has been prepared to inform data subjects about the personal data processed by Att. Balamir Dizdar (“Siba Legal”) in its capacity as the data controller. Siba Legal respects your personal data and exercises the utmost care to ensure its security in accordance with applicable legislation and universal values.
1) Data Controller and Representative
Your personal data is processed by Siba Legal, located at Mustafa Kemal Mh., Dumlupınar Blv., No: 274/6, Mahall, Ankara, E Block, D: 27, Çankaya, Ankara, in accordance with the procedures specified below.
2) Your Processed Personal Data and Purposes of Processing
Siba Legal processes your personal data—consisting of your first and last name (identification), phone number, and email address (contact information)—when you contact us via the form found under the “Contact” tab on the www.sibalegal.com.tr website.
Siba Legal processes the aforementioned personal data solely for the purposes of communicating with you in accordance with the opinions and requests you have expressed, fulfilling your requests, establishing or performing a contract, meeting the burden of proof, and complying with legal obligations.
If the information you provide in the “Subject” and “Message” sections of the form in the “Contact” tab contains personal data, such personal data will also be processed by Siba Legal for the purposes stated above. If you include personal data belonging to third parties in the “Subject” and “Message” sections, it will be deemed that you have shared such personal data with the relevant individuals in order to fulfill your legal obligations toward them. We request that you refrain from including in the “Subject” and “Message” sections any personal data belonging to you or a third party that is classified as special category personal data under Article 6 of the Law—such as race, ethnic origin, political opinions, philosophical beliefs, religion, denomination, or other beliefs; attire; membership in associations, foundations, or unions; health; sexual life; criminal convictions and security measures, as well as your biometric and genetic data. Siba Legal will not process your special category personal data if you share it and will destroy such data.
Your personal data may be processed for internal reporting and statistical purposes, provided it is anonymized.
3) Method of Collection and Legal Basis for the Processing of Your Personal Data
The personal data specified above is collected electronically when you fill out the contact form located under the “Contact” tab on the www.sibalegal.com.tr website. Siba Legal processes your specified personal data in accordance with the data processing purposes set forth above and within the scope of the conditions for personal data processing specified in Article 5 of the Law, based on the following legal grounds: (i) the conclusion or performance of a contract, (ii) compliance with legal obligations, and (iii) the necessity of processing for Siba Legal’s legitimate interests, provided that such processing does not infringe upon your fundamental rights and freedoms.
4) Transfer of Your Personal Data
Siba Legal may transfer your personal data—consisting of your first and last name, phone number, and email address, as well as any other personal data you provide in the “Subject” and “Message” fields, if applicable—to a third-party service provider from whom we receive services, for the purpose of providing the technical services necessary to achieve the processing purposes, in accordance with the conditions for processing personal data set forth in Article 8 of the Law.
In addition, if a public authority, individual, institution, or organization is authorized by law to request your personal data, your personal data may be transferred to the authorized individual, institution, or organization in accordance with personal data protection legislation. Requests from judicial authorities will also be addressed in accordance with the relevant legislation.
5) Your Rights Regarding the Protection of Your Personal Data
As the data subject, we hereby inform you that you have the following rights under Article 11 of the Law:

If your personal data has been processed, to request information regarding such processing,
To learn the purpose of the processing of your personal data and whether it is being used in accordance with that purpose,
To know the third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred, whether within or outside the country,
To request the correction of your personal data if it has been processed incompletely or incorrectly,
To request the erasure or destruction of your personal data within the framework of the conditions set forth in the relevant legislation,
To request that third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred be notified of any corrections, erasures, or destructions carried out in accordance with the relevant legislation,
To object to a decision made solely through the automated processing of your personal data that adversely affects you,
To claim compensation for any damage you suffer as a result of the unlawful processing of your personal data.

Your request will be processed free of charge as soon as possible and, in any event, within thirty (30) days, depending on the nature of your request. However, if processing your request requires additional costs, SİBA Legal reserves the right to charge a fee in accordance with the tariff determined by the Personal Data Protection Board.
